The Thief River Falls Area Community Fund (TRFACF) provides grants to nonprofit or public entities within the Thief River Falls School District area. Grants are awarded for projects, programs or activities that improve the quality of life enjoyed by Thief River Falls area residents and visitors.
The deadline for submission is May 1 of each year. Grants will be considered in the areas of: Leisure and Recreation, Aesthetic Development, Arts, Culture and Education, Youth Activities and Senior Enrichment. We are looking for projects that are inclusive to all types of diversity and that serve a number of participants or organizations in the Thief River Falls area.
TRFACF is a fund of the Northwest Minnesota Foundation. Grants are made possible through the generous donations from Thief River Falls residents, businesses and friends who desire to give back to our community.
Applications may be submitted through our online application form.
2020 Grant Recipients
The Thief River Falls Area Community Fund (TRFACF) awarded grants to three local organizations in 2020: the Thief River Falls Food Shelf, the Falls Diverse Abilities Corporation (DAC), and the Thief River Falls Pickleball Association.
These awards are in keeping with the goals of the fund, which are to support local activities that make the TRF area a better place to live and work. Read more…
